Dream Car Realized: 1970 Plymouth Superbird Tribute with 440 Six-Pack at MoParty

John Miller made the eight-hour trip from a small town west of Toledo, Ohio, back to MoParty for his second year, and this time he brought his dream car. His 1970 Plymouth Superbird is a carefully built tribute that started as a bare Satellite shell and was assembled piece by piece with as many authentic Superbird and factory Mopar components as possible. Under the hood is a real 1970 440 Six-Pack motor he’s owned since he was 21, recently freshened up and now finally living where it belongs. With a four-speed pistol-grip, factory suspension pieces, disc brake conversion, and countless personal touches, this Superbird wasn’t built to sit, it was built to be driven.

From Hot Rod Power Tour to Mopar Nationals, daily commutes to autocross and drag strip runs, John drives his car the way he always dreamed of since he was 12 years old. It’s a true family affair too, with relatives and multiple cars making the trip together. If you love real stories, real builds, and cars that get driven hard and enjoyed, you don’t want to miss this one—watch the full video to hear it rumble and see why this Superbird is all about having fun.
