Infinity ECU V96.2 Firmware Update Now Available

Update adds new applications, supports CANbus for X-Series Gauges and more!

January 7th, 2016, Hawthorne, CA - AEM has released its V96.2 firmware update for the Infinity ECU platform. This upgrade delivers several new and enhanced features for the V2.96.8367 InfinityTuner software, including CANbus support for X-Series wideband AFR controllers and other gauges, timing support for the 2004-06 Subaru WRX STi and 2009-up GEN III Hemi, and several improved usability features. New models and sessions with this firmware update are compatible with V96.1 layouts.

Firmware V96.2 enhancements include:

• 2013-Up GEN III Hemi
• 2002-2007 Suzuki GSXR 1300 Hayabusa

• 2014 Polaris RZR XP 1000
• 2006-2015 Ford Duratec DOHC 4-Cylinder Engines (Excl. GDI)
• 2006-2015 Mazda 2.0L MZR

MORE FLEXIBILITY:

• Support for X-Series CAN messages
• Infinity will receive CAN messages from all X-Series gauges (for datalogging only)
• Dedicated Save Paths
• New features with dedicated save paths for layouts, sessions and themes. Auto-save log path is now displayed in window header
• Additional digital inputs allowed for 3StepSwitch and ShiftSwitch tables
• LeanProtect allows use of Lambda 3 & 4 external inputs

SETUP WIZARD CHANGES:

• Fuel Properties Setup Wizard
• Allows users to adjust fuel specific gravity and stoichiometric ratio individually

FIRMWARE V96.2 PRECAUTIONS:

The upgrade process should carry over all ignition sync settings, however AEM recommends that the user verify this with a timing light prior to operating the engine under load.
