If there's one thing that tests the strength and durability of every component in a car's drivetrain, it's drag racing – anytime you’re running slicks or drag radials, snapping a U-joint or breaking a driveline component is a real possibility. That's where Lakewood’s Universal Driveshaft Safety Loop comes in, providing an extra measure of protection and keeping your driveshaft from flying off. NHRA- and IHRA-approved (most race tracks require a driveshaft safety loop for any car that runs 12.99 or quicker), these driveshaft loops are a four-piece design made of zinc-plated steel for maximum corrosion-resistance and adjustable for easy installation in almost any flat-floorboard vehicle. No welding is required – they're bolt-on items and even come complete with all the necessary hardware for a fast, easy installation. Direct-fit models are available for popular applications such as late model Mustangs and Camaros
