Viva Las Vegas! Holley’s LS Fest West returns to sunny North Las Vegas, Nevada for another year of festivities that include drag racing, burnouts, autocross, vendors, and of course, the car show. LS Fest is simple: you must be LS or LT-powered… that’s it. It can be street legal or not, it can have four wheels or two wings, and it doesn’t matter what’s on the outside only that you have a sweet-sounding, American-made LS/LT V8 on the inside. This year’s car show did not disappoint and featured an eclectic mix of reliable dailies, patina’d swapped hot rods, and restored muscle cars.
The car show is one of the highlights of LS Fest West. It is open to all LS-powered vehicles, including cars, trucks, and even motorcycles. Participants can enter their vehicles in various categories, such as Best in Show, Best Engine Bay, and Best Paint. The competition is fierce, and the level of creativity and craftsmanship on display is truly impressive.
One of the unique aspects of the LS Fest West car show is that it is not just about the cars themselves, but also about the people behind them. Participants are encouraged to engage with each other and share their experiences and knowledge. This creates a sense of community among the car enthusiasts, and fosters a spirit of collaboration and support.
In addition to the car show, LS Fest West also features a variety of other events and activities. The autocross competition is a popular one, where participants race their vehicles around a course marked by cones. The drag racing competition is also a big draw, with participants competing for the fastest time down the quarter-mile. There are also dyno competitions, where participants measure the horsepower and torque of their engines.
