Yet another rookie driver has won in his ARCA Racing Series debut this weekend at the ModSpace 150 in New Jersey. Andrew Ranger out of Roxton Pond, Quebec won the 67 lap race on a 2.25 mile road track that boasts 14 turns and a half-mile straightway. Ranger carried the top position in the practice results, and the pole position, qualifying first with a time of 81.549. A blown engine after the qualifying rounds forced him to drop to a starting position of 31st for the green. Congratulations to Andrew and the Waste Management-RRT Dodge racing team for the hard fought victory. Other lap leaders for Sunday's race included George Miedecke, who took an early lead that he sustained for the first 31 laps, Chris Buescher and Tim George Jr. who led late in the race before being overtaken by Miedecke. In the final laps of the race Miedecke and Ranger pulled away from the pack for a six lap battle. Ranger emerged victorious followed by Miedecke, Chad McCumbee, Tim George Jr., Tom Hessert, Frank Kimmel, Josh Williams, Ty Dillon, Chad Hackenbracht and Grant Enfinger.
