Driving off-road can get physically challenging when the terrain gets rough and your vehicle gets tipsy. But there’s no need to feel like a rag doll bouncing around the cabin of your rig. “OE manufacturers,” continues Somers, “in an effort to cut costs or even because they’re more focused on horsepower and suspension travel, don’t make seats a big priority. We’re happy to pick up the slack. We use military-spec parachute cord, anti-rip liners, and we choose higher quality goods when it comes to foams and outer cover materials.”

The tube-style frame of Simpson suspension seats is mated to a laser-cut seat base that utilizes a variety of different modular mounting rails. The seats also feature superior containment compared to factory OEM seats, to keep you securely planted in side-loading situations.
