Think you’re handy with hand tools? Can you swap engines in your sleep? Then Holley is looking for you to compete in the 2014 Car Craft Engine Swap Challenge September 5-7, 2014 at the Holley LS Fest in Bowling Green, KY at Beech Bend Raceway. Holley will supply the cars and engines! You bring the team and tools! The Car Craft Engine Swap Challenge presents two teams with two equally prepped running vehicles along with a GM LS engine. Each two-man team must face off to see who can install the GM LS engine in place of the older engine and get it running in the shortest duration of time. Whoever gets their engine running first gets to keep it and all the bolt-on LS parts from Holley Performance including an EFI system! Last year’s Car Craft Engine Swap Challenge was a knuckle banging success as two teams used their tools and talent to swap a Holley equipped LS motor into a second gen Camaro in the fastest time possible. Adam Leigh and Pete Eskew won with a time of 1 hour and 40 seconds! They received the LS engine along with all the Holley LS goodies attached to it. This event is always an audience favorite and last year’s crowd was filled with cheers of encouragement and helpful tips of advice.
