Performance Programmers for 2016 Chevrolet Silverado & GMC Sierra

We quickly saw gains of 16 horsepower and 20 Ft.Lbs of torque, but the dyno numbers weren’t enough- we needed to make sure that it was driving better as well.

When we took our 5.3L truck out on the street, it was obvious that our tune had woken up a monster! The throttle was much more responsive, and there was no lag when we took off from a stop light. We noted that the power gains were significant throughout the entire RPM band.

The truck was pulling a lot harder, but the transmission on our 6-Speed equipped truck needed tweaking. We created two separate transmission tunes one, the “Hard Shift” tune, was for drivers that like a really aggressive shift feel, while the “Firm Shift” tune gives you a nice shift feel but no super aggressive. If you like the way your 6-speed shifts from the factory, we’ve left the option for you to run your stock transmission tune.

Pre-Loaded Performance Programs

The tune selections for the 2016 Silverado or Sierra depend on the type of gas you want to put in the tank. For best results, we always recommend running the highest-octane gas available in your area and running the tune associated with that octane rating (ex: 93 octane, 91 octane)

Sierra/Silverado 5.3L 91/93 Octane Performance Tune +16 HP | +20 TQ

The 5.3L powertrain makes great horsepower on premium 91 or 93 octane gasoline. When you run this tune you are getting the biggest power gain available on a stock 5.3L 1500 truck, along with all of the drivability enhancements of that our preloaded tune creates.

Sierra/Silverado 5.3L 87 Octane Performance Tune + 8 HP | + 10 TQ

You can save money at the gas pump and still get a power gain! Run this tune in your truck if you want to use regular 87 octane gasoline, but you still want to enhance the drivability and performance.

Sierra/Silverado 6.2L 91/93 Octane Performance Tune +20 HP | +20 TQ

Running the 93 octane tune in your 6.2L is how you get the biggest available power gain for the truck. This tune maximizes all of the performance parameters of the truck’s computer while keeping it within safe limits for daily driving.

Sierra/Silverado 6.2L 87 Octane Performance Tune + 13 HP | + 18 TQ

This tune is a great mix of economy and performance; it saves money at the pump while giving your horsepower a nice bump! This tune also gives you all of the refined drivability enhancements in addition to power

Sierra/Silverado MPG Booster Tune +2 MPG

If you are after fuel economy, this tune is for you. Our mileage booster technology allows you to pick up an average of 2 MPG on your stock truck without adding a power boost. It is perfect for long road trips or commutes!

This tune uses the truck’s factory calibration but allows for modifications to the tune to suit your own needs

Firm Shift Tune

The Firm Shift tune greatly improves the 6-speed transmission for a better feel! This tune is recommended for drivers who are looking for a performance shift, but do not want it to be too aggressive for daily driving.
