It's a world-class track with a small-town strip feel to it, and it couldn't be a more fitting location for a field of historically accurate and significant racing machines and show cars to do what they do best. For three days the sound of racing machines will echo past the barns and silos, while out in the fields show cars of spectacular quality sit for passers-by to admire. If you lived through drag racing's halcyon days, this will be the closest thing to a step back in time that you can get. If you are young enough that you missed those days and always wondered if the stories that you were told were true, the Hot Rod Reunion is your chance to see those glories first-hand. You will experience the thump of Chevy Rat motors and the banshee howl of some of the most highly-strung small-blocks ever. Max Wedge Mopars appear in flocks, and Gen I and Gen II Hemis are popping up like dandelions. And that's just the newer stuff on the property - from Anglias to the wild machines of the Straight-Axle Mafia, the action is as raw as it gets.
