ARCA Racing and Mallory Still Going Strong After Pocono
The ARCA Racing Series returned to Pocono Raceway this past weekend for the Pennsylvania 125. Mallory Ignition was there with our ARCA Insider, getting pictures and helping out with our CT Pro Ignition trays which are still going strong with zero race failures! Congratulations to Ty Dillon for his 3rd straight win, giving Richard Childress Racing a clean sweep at Pocono this year.
Dillon now holds a 410 point lead in the series standings, leading Grant Enfinger, Frank Kimmel and Chris Buescher. All 4 drivers hold at least 10 top-10 finishes in 13 starts this year. We'll see how these drivers do on the dirt when ARCA heads to the Illinois State Fairgrounds for the Allen Crowe 100 on Sunday August 21st.

Do you have respect for the AMC AMX? You probably should. This muscled-up mutant of a sports car could handle the curves and really move off the line. AMX stood for American Motors eXperimental, and we think American Motors Corporation made the right choice not to go with AME, it doesn't sound as cool. Something that does sound cool though, is a big 390 engine in a 2-seater that was stock rated for 420 hp in the '69 SS model. This was a machine that could hold it's own against the big 3 and was far more affordable than the Corvette.
