Do you have respect for the AMC AMX? You probably should. This muscled-up mutant of a sports car could handle the curves and really move off the line. AMX stood for American Motors eXperimental, and we think American Motors Corporation made the right choice not to go with AME, it doesn't sound as cool. Something that does sound cool though, is a big 390 engine in a 2-seater that was stock rated for 420 hp in the '69 SS model. This was a machine that could hold it's own against the big 3 and was far more affordable than the Corvette.

Team OTSFF/MOTUL Off-Road Clinches Top-5 in Points Chase!| 10/21/2019
Team owner/driver Andre Laurin and navigator Kerry King’s mission was to get to the finish line both days and collect enough points to solidify their top five standing in the 6100 Spec Trophy Class Championship. They were in fifth place on the scoreboard going into Laughlin. When all was said and done, they left Laughlin – which is located on the banks of the Colorado River at the extreme southern tip of Nevada – in fourth place. But that storybook ending to the season almost didn’t happen.
