How would you feel if you won 5 of your first 8 career Series races? Well if you want to know an accurate response to that question, you'd have to ask Ty Dillon. After this weekend at Chicagoland, the rookie from Richard Childress Racing can claim that accomplishment just days after graduating from high school. Dillon took the lead from Chad Hackenbracht, who had lead for an impressive 45 laps, leading the field by over 9 seconds on lap 70 before blowing his right front tire on lap 85. The top 10 featured Maryeve Dufault (VR 12-Dodge Motorsports Dodge), Brent Brevak (Brevak Racing Dodge) and Grant Efinger (Hoosier Tire Midwest-racetires.com Dodge) at the 1.5 mile tri oval in Joliet, Illinois. At 7th, Frank Kimmel (Ansell-Menards Ford) the 9 time ARCA Champion kept himself in 2nd place in the season points standing just behind the young Ty Dillon. Tom Hessert (Federated Auto Parts Chevrolet) grabbed another top 10 finish, as he did 15 times last ARCA season. Running another great race was Andrew Ranger (Van Dyke Baler Ford) at 5th, who won the ModSpace 150 in New Jersey just 12 days earlier. Chad McCumbee (ModSpace Ford) finished 4th just behind pole winner, Josh Richards (Texas Corral-Kentucky Fuel Toyota) . Coming in 2nd was Chris Buescher (PWS Technologies Ford) who is tied for 3rd with Chad McCumbee in the overall season standings. Mallory would like to congratulate all of the teams thank them for showing what our CT Pro Ignition trays can do each race.
