Welcome to 2023! It is a new year and the fellows behind the Kibbe and Friends Show are embracing the new year as they shake off the fog of the holiday season. Are the cookies gone yet? Will you puke on sight if you have to suffer through one more sappy movie about the city girl who returned home, the country boy who doesn't know he needs to settle down, and the picturesque snow-covered country town that could only exist in either a Norman Rockwell painting or some small town in Connecticut? If you are anything like us, you're certain to. Once the New Year's party is over, it's time to get moving on the march forward. For the guys, they need something to look forward to for the year. While we won't have any flying General Lee Chargers for them to enjoy until later this year, we're sure they'd have a fantastic time with us at LS Fest West 2023.

The review for this episode is an early Season 1 episode, "Luke's Love Story". Apparently, since this review is one of Corndog's personal picks, not everybody is done with the sappy love story schtick. At least this ends the way most of these sappy, made-for-TV movie style love stories end: with a disappearing act by one of the star-crossed lovers at the end. At least there's more than just one interesting hot-rodded machine to watch. Be sure to check out the race between the General Lee, the Plymouth Fury painted up like Herbie the Love Bug, the black fastback Mustang with the red striping, and the green and yellow early second-gen Camaro.
