The Holley EFI Shootout, taking place on Monday, Feb. 5, 2018, is a true showcase for 4-wheel drive racing's premier drivers and a precursor to the prestigious Nitto King of the Hammers event. It's also the perfect showcase for LS power in general and Holley EFI-fueled LS power in particular – several top racers using LS engines in the race run complete Holley EFI systems. This year, the event will be contested at an undisclosed location closer to Hammertown to accommodate a larger anticipated crowd while continuing to present a challenge that will prove as tough as ever to racers. Competition is open to all sorts of vehicles, from SRRS bouncers to ULTRA4s to garage-built rock crawlers competing in a shootout format, and the top 10 shootout finishers will be eligible for Friday's King of the Hammers race. The entry fee is $225. To be eligible to compete, vehicles must either pass tech for ULTRA4 or pass tech for SRRS. Holley EFI is perfect for vehicles just like the ones competing in this event and an ever-increasing array of racing and street applications. Easy to set up, it offers self-learning fuel strategies, datalogging capabilities, a comprehensive assortment of harnesses that simplify installation, and infinitely customizable touchscreens that make tuning your engine to your exact specifications easier than ever.
