Holley, a leader in automotive aftermarket products, has an immediate opening for a Product Photographer.


We are looking for a passionate Photographer to add to our Photography team. The purpose of the Photography team is to lead the automotive aftermarket industry by creating the most representative product images without sacrificing creativity. This position will work under deadlines with fast turnaround and consistent communication required. Candidate should be self-disciplined, motivated and able to take constructive feedback, and willing to learn. The successful candidate will be able to achieve technical, qualitative, and quantitative goals while meeting our Product Managers’ and Business Development needs and deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.


Requirements:

  • 1-2 years proven professional shooting experience
  • Competency photographing products for E-Commerce/Web listings
  • Eye-catching portfolio
  • Proficient with modern digital photography equipment
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop
  • Shooting, coordinating, and off-camera lighting skills
  • Competency in applying photographic best practices and techniques
  • Proficient with PC/Windows
  • Familiarity and experience with shooting video, including working with on-camera talent
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere and After Effects
  • Creativity and attention to detail
  • Automotive background and/or experience a plus!


Position responsibilities include:

  • Take the time to understand specifications and work closely with our engineering team and Product Managers to develop the concept for each product
  • Capture and process product images until desired results are achieved
  • Compose shots that accurately relay features/benefits of products
  • Use creativity to enhance product representation and photography angles
  • Constantly improve image quality using various editing methods (Clone stamp, Spot healing, etc.)
  • Ensure photography requests are handled in a timely manner
  • Communicate effectively between photography requestors and other photography staff
  • Use and maintain modern and traditional technical equipment (cameras, lenses etc.)
  • Arrange objects, scenes, lighting and background to maintain consistency and adhere to specifications
  • Archive photographic images and maintain database
  • Maintain an in depth understanding of photographic best practices and procedures
  • Maintain a fast-paced FIFO inventory of products to shoot
  • Accurately identify and recommend needs for equipment to maintain peak effectiveness
