1969 Mustang Restomod

By: Michael 10/22/2020

The retirement project has begun. Since my wife complained that she doesn’t like the squeaks and rattle of a classic car, she agreed to my idea to Restomod build the old girl.

Little did she know that meant putting in:

Heidts full front suspension with rack and pinion, and coil over shocks

Heidts four link rear and frame connectors to tighten the body

Shock tower delete and full engine bay smoothing including firewall smoothing

Body blasting and full bed line undercarriage and lizard skin interior lined

Re-routing the A/C and heater hoses out of the engine bay including Vintage Air A/C

Rebuilt the existing 302 to a roller rocker motor, electric fuel pump, Holley EFI (originally a sniper but upgraded to the Terminator). Along with a Holley Hyperspark distributor to ensure years of trouble free performance.

AOD upgrade from the C-4 with a Hurst shift kit

Quick Performance 3.55 POSI 3rd member and rebuilt rear end.

Willwood disc brake upgrade front and rear

with new American 17x8 “Magnum” wheels with 275x40/17 BFG’s

Dakota Digital dash replacement and push button start

Power windows upgrade with crank handle controls to keep the old school look.
