Transmission started slipping real bad 3 weeks after I bought the car, removed the trans pan and found lots of clutch material and metal chips, so it's off to the ....

Removed the transmission...What a nasty mess it was...leaking tail shaft seal and speedo...

Pretty nasty on the outside and on disassembly worse on the inside, so I found a good deal on 1 just rebuilt with a shift kit and a 1100 stall, which i replaced later, on Craig's list...Looked brand new, worked like new, I was very happy.

I also added a aluminum finned trans pan, a chrome flywheel cover, heavy duty flex plate and a B & M mini starter.. I also replace both U-joints and installed a urethane transmission mount, Replaced the transmission both lines with new ones....Still wanting to add a trans cooler...

Looks much better, works great, solid shifts, can even chirp the tires when it shifts to 2nd gear.. love it...
