Complete restoration

By: Ken 02/23/2021

Car was brought in out of state by a body shop. They completely stripped the car and started to restore it, but they just covered all the dents and rust with bondo then primered it. I bought it since they went out if business. The body was redone by a reputable shop, replacing quarters, rockers and other bad sheet metal, then painted it the Imperial blue. I did all the chassis work, reinforcing the frame, adding mini tubs and adding all the upgrades, brakes, suspension, steering and stainless brake and fuel lines. I was only able to salvage the rear window glass, all the other windows are new. The engine was a short block with all forged internals, that I completed. The LS3 heads are semi-ported, blended and port matched. Installed a Comp cam, Pac springs, titanium retainers. Ignition is a Daytona Smart Spark with my own custom curve. Trans is a built 4L60e, rear is a narrowed Ford 9" with a Grizzly locker thru a Dennys 3" aluminum driveshaft. The dash was redone with Dakota digital instruments. Still completing the interior but so far has Cipher buckets in front and a local upholstery shop reupholstered the original rear spring set to match the buckets. The shifter is a Lokar in a homemade walnut console.
