The Crowning Jewel - Holley 12.3 Digital Dash

By: David 05/21/2021

I had a lot of gauges spread out all over my dash and I wanted to condense it somehow, and get into the 21st Century and still make it look stock . So when I came across the Holley EFI 12.3" Pro Dash I thought that would do the trick. And it did.

Pics of all my gauges:

I also wanted to finish the entire front dash area off in black, so remove everything.

I wanted to do it right as best I could, so I took everything apart and cleaned it really well and then painted it with Dupli-Color Vinyl & Fabric Flexible Finish Paint that I've used before on things and holds up very well.

One problem I had with removing the gauges was the 4 big holes left in my side dash, but I was able to find a dash cap for it.

Then it arrived :-)

I started getting all the wires routed and in place.

And getting the dash back together somewhat.

The wires are all ready for the Digital Dash

Setting it in place to get an idea of how I was going to mount it.

Started with making some plastic side brackets.

Finally got it in the correct position after a few tries.

I still needed to add some custom side pieces to the inside of the bezel to mate up against the Digital Dash to keep it looking Factory-ish.

The tape is just holding it in place as the silicone dries.

Connecting the wiring.

And a quick test to see if it works.

Got it all put back together.

And just a few examples of different screens available, but you completely design whatever you want.

But I'm boring and went with this for now :-) But with a flick of the touch screen I can change it anytime :-)

So I was able to replace all of this:

With this:

And I even added Fuel Pressure as well! Oh and Elevation. The possibilities of what you can monitor and how to lay it out are almost endless.

Another two thumbs up!

Now with the 12.3" Holley Digital Dash and 9" Alpine Head Unit (Android Auto & Camera's and such) I'm pretty up to date with the techy stuff of modern cars.
