Engine rebuild

Rebuilt the third engine with new crankshaft and bearings, new camshaft, lifters, aluminum heads, full roller rocker arms. Reused the Edelbrock carb and HEI.

Mounted the engine on a test stand and connected to a radiator, battery, fuel tank and full exhaust system off the car. Added switches for power to ignition, gauges, and a toggle switch to engage the starter. Gauges monitored oil pressure, battery voltage, tach rpm, and manifold vacuum. Cranking compression test gave 175-185 psi on all cylinders. No oil leaks.

Here the engine is mounted to its newly rebuilt TH200-4R four-speed auto transmission and ready to drop into the Chevelle's engine bay.
