HAD SOME PROBLEMS TOO HOT!!!

WELL WE HAVE HAD SOME ISSUES KEEPING THE OLD GIRL COOL. CHECKED THE THERMOSTAT WITH INFRARED CAMERA. FOUND TERMOSTAT OPENING AT 190 AS IT SHOULD. CAR STILL HAS ORIGINAL RADIATOR AND THE 5.0 CLUTCH FAN. OVER HEATS IN DRIVE THRU'S. WE CANT HAVE THAT.

SO AFTER A LOT OF RESEARCH I GOT A NEW RADIATOR AND ELECTRIC FAN ASSEMBLY ORDERED.

WE WERE PRETTY IMPRESSED WITH THE WELDING JOB.

WE HAD TO BUILD NEW MOUNTS FROM STRATCH AND IT TOOK SOME TIME TO FIGURE OUT WHAT TO USE FOR THE LOWER RADIATOR HOSE.

WELL NEW PARTS INSTALLED FANS WIRED UP AND CONTROLLED BY SNIPER EFI. OFF FOR A TEST DRIVE. ALL SEEMS WELL. SET THE FIRST FAN ON AT 190. THE SECOND ON AT 198.

ALL WENT WELL. SO OFF FOR A TRUE TEST.

NO BETTER COOLANT SYSTEM TEST THEN THE DREADED MCDONALDS DRIVE THRU!!

AND WE PASSED!! THE TEMP IS LEVEL AT 200 NOW. AFTER 15 MINS THRU THE THRU!!
