The General

The General, a 1988 s10 that started life with a 2.8 v6, 700r4, 308 rear end. After high school my wife and I built a 3.8 229 chevy v6 we found in the neighbor’s junk pile. I thought it was a 4.3. W ended up putting in a Edelbrockcam and intake, SummitRacing aluminum roller rockers. Bumped up the compression to 9.5 and installed Edelbrock headers. We installed front and rear sway bars and American racing wheels with 23560r15 bf Goodrich radial ta tires. We had a flow master exhaust put on and it sounds pretty sweet for a 229 v6.

Before my wife passed away she found me a 5.3 lm7. And that was gonna be the next install. We never got to start on the engine. My oldest daughter and I are going to build it together
