From a small block 400 to an LS unexpectedly

Well, this project started as a head gasket and cam upgrade to a full blown conversion to an LS LQ9 (6.0L) engine! Had the cylinder wall on cylinder number 2 not been scored up I probably wouldn't have done this swap yet. Also the engine builder for the guy before me has replaced some pistons and 2 of 8 were different! So now here we are! I started building a cart for parts and noticed for the amount I was about to spend sending the heads, block, crank and new pistons etc. out to a machine shop to have things done right, I figured what better time to go big and spend that money on a modernizing the heart of this Malibu with a 129k mile 6.0L LS engine. I am in no way near finished and I am just getting started! #LSSWAPTHEWORLD
