Working the kinks out

The good thing about finding the weak link is that you now know what needs to be beefed up, in my case it was the stock axles out of the 8.625 rearend from a 90's Bazer.

Ordered up some Chromoly axles and we were ready to try again! Finally we had a reliable and decently quick car that was capable of going rounds, we made it just shy of the quarter finals until I broke out of the class by going just a few hundredths too fast.
