The Story

An excellent restoration of a Freemont, Cal. car, done in 2006 by the previous owner. Finished in original colors. PHS documented. Stored in a climate-controlled garage and not driven in the rain. It's put up on blocks in the fall at the first sign of road salt and then detailed and serviced for the next driving season.

It's an exceptionally good looking and fast cruiser, yet presents a stock appearance and gets driven whenever weather and opportunities allow.

Born with PB, PS, A/C, Auto, WW tires and Deluxe wheel covers. Judge wing, hood tach and Formula steering wheel were added by previous owner. Remote drivers mirror, door edge guards, wheel opening trim moldings, remote trunk release, cruise control and other accessories were added by me.

Cooling system was updated by me with a stock appearing 4-row radiator from U.S. Radiators with the "High Efficiency" core. It's equipped with a Spectra GM34M 20 gal. gas tank with 3 vents for ECC connection to a new charcoal canister. No more fuel smell in the garage. The filler neck was modified to allow fill-ups from a standard unleaded gas nozzle without spillage, just like any modern car.

Added by the previous owner, the 14" Rally II wheels have been repainted in correct colors. Power steering rebuilt with the fast ratio. Suspension replaced by me with Global West control arms throughout and RideTech adjustable shocks. Front springs replaced by previous owner, rear springs by me. Even with the base rate GTO springs and original sway bars, the ride quality and handling are vastly improved over stock while maintaining the proper ride height.
