The long 4 yr build of miss vivian

Brought her home sept 2019, bought 1983 s10 for chassis swap and found a 1965 283 mostly intact, had a local (R&R speed shop , Huntsville Alabama) do the engine cleanup, cylinder bore, line bore machining, and studded bottom end. Also set up Ford 9 inch. 3rd member .

Henry Panza chassis swap kit at 5 inches off frame, some parts modified to my personal specs for non restoration parts and effects, (e.g. front and rear bumper mounts.) . All sheetmetal done myself with a 7 piece Eastwood hammer and dolly set. Tree stump for curves, lincoln 140 pro mig

. Every panel and fender needed some form of repair or patch replacement. Front 1950 cadillac bumper needed almost 8 inches narrowed to fit . Ford rear end (1973 f150)also narrowed to 60 3/8" and custom axles to fit fenders and allow proper width for corvette rally wheels.

Th350 transmission rebuilt and stage 1 shift kit done by J&D transmission of Ft Payne Alabama .

Summit 2 part epoxy primer . Exterior color Limco 2 stage paint mixed to 1951 gm code 3E1617 and supplied by Bumper to bumper auto parts in Huntsville Alabama. Sprayed through Harbor freight purple gun with slight modification with Kobalt 2 hp, 30 gallon air compressor . All black paint is Tractor supply Majic industrial enamel with gloss hardener.

All upholstery was sewn by myself on a sewstrong portable walking foot sewing machine using mostly Hobby Lobby materials, tan tweed and headliner material. Leather from Wilsons upholstery and sewing supply, Boaz,Alabama.

Bed wood is locally sourced and sawn white oak, minwax transparent cherry .
