C4 Transmission Rebuild

3/10/2017 - I was never sure how many miles were on this C4 Transmission when we rebuilt the engine. But this really did not matter, since the engine was being rebuilt, the transmission was also being completely dismantled and rebuilt.  There were some damaged internal parts that were replaced. The transmission was re-assembled and then PPG Metal treatment was used on this aluminum alloy transmission case. DP Epoxy primer was then sprayed over the entire casing to provide the ideal substrate for the Dupli-Color Engine Enamel with Ceramic #DE1650 Cast Coat Aluminum finish.  The transmission pan finish will be completed once we are sure no further transmission adjustments are required.
