Purchased in 1993 as a standard 1.3ltr, within a year it had a 1.7 engine which was later modified to a group 4 spec. about a year after that I decided to go with a 4x4 drive train, it stayed with the 4x4 setup for another 5 years then I fitted a 2.0ltr Cosworth turbo engine and converted the car to rear wheel drive, this was completed apart from the wiring when a friend convinced me to put a V8 into it so a SBF302 was installed along with a C4 transmission a few years after this came two 347 strokers (std block then a Dart block) but I wanted to go bigger so a Dart SHP 351w block was ordered along with a 438ci stroker kit and AFR 225 heads and everything else needed to complete the build
