New ride

Just purchased 01/14/2025 It came with the VOXX 22' wheels with P285/45-r22 Michelin Defender LTX M/S rubber and a K&N Air filter already installed. I ordered the Superchips Flashpaq F5 after doing my research. I want to disable AFM and tune for towing and performance with trans and power gains. I'm not looking to make 1000HP just a dependable solid tow vehicle for our 19' Smoker Craft boat and 24' Layton camper with some style. Stock tune is slugish with soft shifts and lazzy throttle response unless you really stomp on it then it goes pretty good for a whale of a vehicle. I replaced a 2012 Silverado 1500 5.3 6L80E that worked hard pulling the camper so I am interested in seeing how the 6.2L with the 6L80E does. I am in the North East with lots of hilly mountain terrain and the 5.3 constantly was hunting for the right gear even with a tuner it was a slug pulling hills. My plans to upgrade the brake system with the Police package big brakes from the Tahoe platform and a true dual 3.5" cat back to allow it to breath a little better. Obviously a little better fuel millage would be nice however you don't buy these for their fuel economy at 13-15mpg average is what I have read, I will see. I got to drive it 170 miles from place of purchase and it was no worse on fuel then the 5.3 with 6L80E behind it.
