Front Shock Towers

To strengthen the front shock towers, reinforcement plates (Part# 12-3008) cut from 1/8” steel were welded in place at an angle on the inside lower portion of the shock towers.  The welding in of these plates will create a sealed cavity that was pre-treated with epoxy primer before welding.  Once reinforcement plates were welded in place the entire front clip received a coating of epoxy primer surfacer to begin the sanding and surfacing process.  Finally, a gloss black urethane finished was applied.
