The High School Hot Rod

I bought this car in the fall of 2019. I'm way in over my head, but I knew what I wanted, so I went out and got it. Before I had this wonderful pile of medal, it was a drag car.. "drag car". It had been sitting for about 15 years, but it has quite the story to tell. Back in the late 80s or early 90s, way before my time, a lady bought this car to drive to work, classy lady right? After several years of this car being her daily driver, she gave it to her son as his first car. Well we all know he couldn't be satisfied with a stock third gen, so he decided to send it I guess. By time he was done, she had a 454 big block with a th350 and a very modest Ford 9" with coilovers and ladder bars. Well some time passed and he ended up going through a divorce that left the car on the curb. So 15 years later, here I am, 18 years old and fresh out of high school, not knowing a thing about what I'm getting myself into, when one day I'm scrolling through Facebook marketplace when I see the perfect project, a Black Z28. It may have a severe lack of clear coat, but it's got a roll cage, and to say the least, that peaked my interest. So hopefully one day I can exceed her former glory with that dang ol LS swap and a Ching Chang Batarang.
