Vehicle Overview

My 1979 Firebird I bought when I was 16 in 2020. She has a sbc stroked out to be a 383. Other than issues with everything on the motor being loose (Carb, intake manifold, distributor, valve covers, and possibly the heads themselves) after I bought the car, this car has been awesome as well as expensive in parts. My Firebird is equipped with a Super T-10 4 speed manual. On the Dyno when the motor was built, she was pumping out 456 horsepower and 496 ft-lbs of torque. Sadly, now the motor has to have head gaskets replaced so she is not making that much power currently.

Future Plans

I plan to rebuild the 383 when time and money allows me to. I also want to get new bushings all the way around the car eventually since any original rubber is worn down as expected over the course of 42 years. I would like to put a limited-slip diff into the car; however, that will be reserved for long into the future when I have more money to meddle with on my vehicles.
