Vehicle Overview

'69 Camaro SS that I've had since 1982. It was an original SS396 car, but it had a '65 Impala 325HP motor. It's had a 305 small-block from an '81 pickup since the early '90s with a stout TH400 transmission and 2500rpm Fairbanks convertor. The 305 is stock except for headers, Edelbrock intake, modified Holley 600cfm vacuum (looks like a 780), and Performance Distributors HEI. I drive it a lot, and it's been pretty dependable.

Future Plans

I'm currently working on an LS swap project using a 2009 LY6 6.0 engine with and LS3 intake and camshaft. I plan to use Holley LS swap parts, and I just ordered the mid-mount accessory drive. I also have a 4L80e transmission that I plan to use as well. The 12-bolt rear-end currently has a 3.08 posi-traction, but I plan to change it to 3.55 or 3.73.
