Vehicle Overview

The little '51 Coupe has been steadily massaged for the last two + years, replacing most everything from the front bumper, grille and headlight rings to the rear bumper, taillights and even the license plates. There is not enough room to describe every aspect but here is a general description: 1. Installed chrome and stainless steel exterior trim, to transform from monochromatic to almost stock outward appearance. 2. Replaced existing 350"/290HP motor with Blue Print 383"/450-470 HP motor, new Hughes TH350 transmission and higher stall torque converter 3. Changed rearend from open wheel to Eaton Trutrac 4. Completely rewired from stem to stern 5. Replaced rear drum brakes with 11" CPP Discs (Explorer Parking Brake) 6. Replaced exhaust with 3" front to rear (at this point it's too loud for the California streets) All new sound/heat barrier, in the form of Hushmat material and others ...and on and on....to be continued with further upgrades and improvements
