Vehicle Overview

Was my dads retirement project car. He was a mustang fanatic and had several throughout his life. I put all my effort and a hell of a lot of money to make it into a dream car he would’ve been impressed and proud of. I’m the third registered owner but dad was the second. Bought off the first owner in SoCal. According to the Marti report it was bolt in December 68 in San Jose in an ugly Meadowlark Yellow but I had it stripped to bare metal and disassembled completely and painted a white from Ford. Had a 3 speed manual and power steering. I’ve replaced everything down to the nuts and bolts with a few exceptions of parts that didn’t need it. Went with Holley everything for the fuel system including gas tank, fuel pump (electric), Sniper EFI master kit, and MSD ready to run distributor. Got an old Ford Bronco Edelbrock intake (Shelby knockoff). It’s got the original engine dad had rebuilt with a “hot cam”. Couldn’t find the paperwork for the engine rebuild so I haven’t a clue who what and where it was done. All disc brakes replacing the stock drums. Mounting the battery’s in the trunk. AC by vintage air will be put in after the engine gets broke in. New suspension but stock or slightly better.

Future Plans

Not much except finish the interior as everything is on back order because of Covid. Should be running on the road insured and all by March. Will be getting an automatic at some point and maybe a coyote or other engine swap to preserve the original engine.
