Vehicle Overview

A 1969 AMC Rambler 2 door Sports Sedan Resto-mod. This car was driven in 2016 for 4000 miles, it was parked and completely disassembled the winter of 2016-2017. Body was partially stripped and the body work was done and the car was refinished in the original factory color. It was reassembled with an upgraded drive train, a slightly modified 1977 304 AMC V8, a Mustang GT T5 transmission and a Ford 9" rear end. Upgraded with front single piston disc brakes, Saginaw power steering, a sway bar and an aftermarket air conditioner. The interior has been updated with 90-91 Mustang GT bucket seats. This is a cruiser and I drive it. It has been on the Old 27 Motor Tour and the 2021 Hot Rod Power Tour as well as many other trips. It is a great retirement project.

Future Plans

I just want to continuing driving it and doing the maintenance and minor upgrades as needed. I plan on changing the 14" wheels to 15" steel wheels and converting the 9" Ford to 8" rear end.
