Vehicle Overview

Bought this truck to fix and flip. It’s a 67 c10 Stepside with the small rear window. It’s got a junk 350 in it with a crazy rod knock. Only rust on it is in the outer rockers, cab corners and bottom of the doors. All I’ve managed so far is to tear it apart enough to remove the 350. I’ll be doing that here shortly. Also took everything out of the cab (there must have been about 15 years of grime in it, not to mention the seats were fastened to the floor using unistrut).

Future Plans

- Putting a 383 in it - Fixing the rust - shaving the drip guards - Getting rid of the heater under the hood, replacing with an under dash unit and some stamped sheet metal on the fire wall - Replacing the hood with a full metal hood (current hood has booger &!! welds all over it and about an inch of bondo on top of it) - Painting the frame - Giving it a fresh coat of black paint - It needs all new weather seals and a windshield - Updating the gauge cluster to Inteltronics - upgrading to LED headlights - Giving it a Buck skin interior (seat, door panels, carpet etc.) - Thinking of getting it new wheels - Looking for a bench seat (the truck came with gross old felt seats out of a early 2000s GM vehicle? It looks like… not sure)
