  • Vehicle Overview

My grandpa bought this Camino used with not a lot of miles on it a long time ago. Him and his friend repainted it the same color it was when he got it. This was my grandpas daily driver for a bit to and from his shop that he has. It used to have a 2 bolt main 350 in it stock. At one point he went to a farm, pulled a 350 sbc 4 bolt main from a farm truck in a field. He had it sent out and rebuilt bored .020 over and a mild cam in it, nothing to the heads, and to fuel it an Edelbrock 4 barrel. But at one point he stopped driving it, mice took it over and made it their own little city in their so when he gave it to me we had to take it all apart and clean everything twice. I wanted more power out of it though, so, we pulled the engine and did not know what we wanted to do to it. Then we decided on using a turbo for a power adder. We are not going to be adding the turbo right now because I need to get used to 430hp in the car first but we did this because it was cheaper than a blower but still made good power. But then to help us, someone gave me a 350 sbc with an Edelbrock top end kit that is making roughly 430 hp. So we bought a Holley brawler 650 for it. Since the gaskets went out around the windshield, the floor is gone, so I bought floor pans that my grandpa and I are going to weld in.

    Future Plans

For future plans I want to do a full build of a th400 with trans brake, 4 link with a ford 9 inch, 4.11 posi, and reliably make around 650 horsepower.
