  • Vehicle Overview

In 2006 my father bought me my Camaro. I can remember when i was begging him to buy me an older model Camaro. We did not have a lot of money growing up. He suprised me and bought me a 1980 Rally Sport Camaro. I always spent time with my father growing up and fixing cars. At the time this car was ready to be smashed by a local junk yard, my dad asked the owner of the junk yard if the car was for sale and he replied that if its not smashed it is for sale and we took it home. My dad and I never were able to finish the vehicle because he was deported back to Mexico. Then life took hold I had a baby, then after a while I finally had the money to fix it up again. This is when things took a turn for the worst. I had a seizure that lasted for ten minutes, where I stopped breathing. My wife describes me turning blue and then I went limp. They brought me back to life and I found out I have a tumor in my temporal lobe that is causing me to have seizures. As of right now I am on seizure medicine while they monitor the growth of the tumor, they do not want to operate unless necessary because of where it is located. All of our finances are tied up going to tests and medical bills.

    Future Plans

As of right now I don't know what God has in store for me, all I can do is live my life to the fullest. My future plans are to restore my car back to its full potential. I have a family a one year old daughter and a four year old son. I want to work on my car with my kids the same way my father and I used to growing up. I want to leave this car behind as my legacy to my family. Working on my car is the time I let go of all my problems and focus on the car in front of me.
