We are getting to the final stages of the build! Had problems with our Sniper 2 out of the box, no spark. Not happy that I have to ship off the throttle body and wait 3 weeks to get it back in hopes it works. Holley should just give us a new unit since the car was never started and we got with them before the end of the pitiful 90 day warrantee. I hope it goes better from this point on as I know alot of enthusiasts that have the Sniper 2 and love them. I always seem to get the bad apple it seems. Anyway, Pony interior and convertible top are currently the focus at this point since we have to wait for the throttle body to come back. List of updates are: swapped to a crate 302 in which we removed the holley carb and replaced with the Sniper 2, entire fuel system is from Holley to include Earls hardware and the classic car in tank fuel pump and sending unit. We also upgraded the braking system to power disc front and drum rear, upgraded to Borgeson Power Steering, Champion 3 core radiator and electric fan, complete interior upgrade to autometer Phantom gauges in a brushed aluminum bezel with matching glove box, classic appearing bluetooth radio sound system. All trim has been either replaced or polished if restorable and we mounted the cooper tires on new Styled Steel Wheels after the attached photos. We repainted her PPG Nightmist Blue Metallic base coat and clear coat which is the same color as she was born with from the factory. We have more work to do but are getting close to getting her back out there. the car is a tribute to my Mother whom lost her life due to the complications brought by the horrible COVID shots (I won't call them vaccines because they are not). She left all of us kids a little money and my wife always wanted a 66 Vert so we decided to build her and pay tribute to my Mother who left us way too soon.

    Future Plans

Plan to enjoy mountain drives, taking the grand kids and others out for ice cream or whatever and just enjoying driving a classic from a much better and patriotic time in America. We will show her and enjoy the unique camaraderie of the fellow Classic Car Enthusiasts out there. When we show her, it will all be in Tribute to my fallen Mother who really made this a reality for us, she loved cars and was a bit of a rebel in her younger years. Thank you so much Mom, rest in piece.
