Vehicle Overview

Yes, a Chevy Cruze but you know what? For all the hate these little 1.4 turbos get; they are actually really good little motors after reverse engineering the awful GM engineering that was rushed to get cars into production. The outside is bone stock except for the paint and there is not one spot on these car that has any evidence of prior color of awful white. I took it down to a bare shell when purchased as I was looking for a well cared for 1st Gen LTZ with RS package. The original paint was mint but I hate white. Being the LTZ with RS package had the sport suspension it already is low enough for me with a good stance. The only non stock exterior mod this car has minus paint is since this picture was taken I deleted every bit of chrome on the car, belt moldings, grille, trunk appliqué and found nice OEM trunk emblems for a Redline that are black with red trim. Ultimate sleeper car.

Future Plans

I’ve got to get the stock intercooler off. I have been shopping performance on intercoolers with charge pipes but the costs are too much when I can buy the intercooler I want and make the charge pipes myself for over half of what companies are selling their kits for with mediocre intercoolers. Start selling the pipe kits separate. Mods done: upgraded valve springs, ported intake with Cruze kit but that is going to change as the Cruze kit is a good thought it is just a band aid that forces too much pressure in valve cover. Running a catch can also is going to fix that with a filter and it’s atmospheric. Let’s see, downpipe, made factory air box even a better CAI than that it was stock. The stock injectors are actually better than I thought but I’ve got them to limit, custom LS coil over plugs and wires , custom Garrett- upgraded big turbo. 1/1 made.
