Vehicle Overview

Car now has over 1/2 million miles traveling back and forth across the country. It's been raced at most of the major tracks on the east and west coasts. Never trailered it just dealt with the rain and sometimes cold. 3rd engine, second rear end, and the 2 transmission. They sent out a photographer to record one of my trips across country. The BEST part is the people you meet along the way. The car draws them over to ask about it but general conversations is what makes taking the trips worth while! Ya I got paid to make the trips BUT I really got "paid" by the families, & kids! Families taking pictures of the kids in the car followed by the adult's climbing in for a picture. I now have all new Holley carbs with a basic distributor. No fuel injection just "old school" carbs. The engine currently in the car is a 5.0L Ford Small block that was bored and stroked to 347, delivering 400 hp! The AC car's chassis has dual large diameter pipe forming the chassis. It was based on a British design (AC Cars). You jack up one side of the car and the other side comes up with it. The other advantage I have is the engine and transmission are in the middle of the car. Thus it weighs out at almost 50/50 front to rear. My car is a Factory Five Racing chassis, designed with stronger pipes for the chassis, basic fiberglass body ( doesn't rattle as much as the aluminum body cobra's). I also have carbon fiber doors and trunk lid. Disk brakes all around and rain tires to keep my between the lines! https://youtu.be/TYZEtcgnsU8 Is the video of one of the travels across country to race at Los Vegas!

Future Plans

IF the current engine get's tired I have considered a 351 Ford block bored and stroked to a 427!
