Future Plans

Replace engine, do some bullet proofing to the replacement 5.3 because his current engine is blown up, previous owners son blew it up I bought it with bad engine because I couldn't afford a truck like this running and driving, but after get replacement engine and I've bulletproof't it which by that I mean upgrade oil system with higher volume pump and pickup tube oil pressure sensor, exhaust manifolds so that they don't start leaking in future and I would say headers but I won't be able spend that much money at time of replacing engine so just redo exhaust manifolds with fresh stainless grade 8 hardware and new gaskets and maybe throw on all four corners the dorman exhaust manifold fix for the LS engines, then full plug/wire/coil tune up, possibly a DOD delete if I can fit it in budget, and any other upgrades I can afford to do at time of me replacing engine, do full exhaust and replace all O2 sensors, I don't want a super loud exhaust but I definitely want one that you can for sure hear and sounds good and I have to do this because the one on truck which was a flowmaster but welds broke apparently before I bought it, go through rest of truck update suspension and steering components and brakes, and again if I can fit it in budget, I wanna update all mobile electronics in the truck get a drop hitch with 10inch drop and a recovery kit from yank'em recovery, update any and all lights from headlight to brake light then use the Diablo tuner to tune it after its all done and in time get all body work done and just have a rock solid mechanically bullet proof't super reliable Chevy truck for yrs and yrs to come that I actually own and didn't go in debt to have or own
