    I built this Camaro SS the same way I built my first one in 1969 - 1971. Sold the original in the summer of 1971 before I left for active duty. I always regretted selling it and finally found a nearly identical survivor about 10 years ago. About two years ago, I got the bug to do the same mods to this Camaro that I did to the original. Note that every change could be reversed back to stock. See more on this Camaro in the October 2018 issue of Muscle Car Review magazine and on the Hot Rod magazine website.

    Future Plans

    The next step was vintage performance mods that included a 1968 Edelbrock C3B aluminum hi-rise intake, a 1969 date coded Holley 3310, Comp Cams L79 327 - 350 horsepower cam and valvetrain, Doug's 4-tube headers and a Hays Clutch. These performance mods will be featured in the January, 2019 issue of Muscle Car Review magazine. Following this will be a complete bare metal repaint in Marina Blue.
