    • Vehicle Overview

    Designed: fabricated, total assembly including engine and painted solo by car owner Steve Winter. Body- Steel 1936 Dodge Business Coupe, "Tumblin' Dice". The 1965 Cushman Truckster is "Shooter". Body modifications: Modified grill shell with owner built aluminum grill insert. Custom made lower headlight mounts. Rear fenders widened 2 inches each. ‘93 Cadillac tail lights installed canted into custom formed rear bodywork. Roof filled, drip gutters removed, cowl vent filled and smoothed, door handles shaved, trunk shaved, power lift and close trunk and door poppers installed. Custom Paint- House of Kolor- metallic Pavo Purple body with custom flames applied to roof, hood, sides and front fenders. The flames are Ultra Orange Pearl blending into Sunset Orange Pearl then into Lime Gold Pearl, completely pinstriped in Lime Green. Custom designed flaming dice logo on the right side trunk. Four different color dry mini flakes were mixed in clear coat to highlight flames and purple adding sparks to the flames. Engine- 406 cubic inch stroker, (6.6 liter) Dart machinery SHP small block, 530 horse/520 ft. Lbs. Torque. Air Flow Research “Eliminator” aluminum cylinder heads. Polished Edelbrock Air Gap “RPM” intake topped with a Holley 750 CFM carb. Forged pistons, H-beam rods and crank. Full Roller Comp Cams rockers, hydraulic roller lifters plus cam shaft. Pete and Jake’s camshaft gear drive. TCI Rattler torsional vibration absorber. Sanderson headers to X pipe with 2 Edelbrock SDT stainless mufflers exiting through 4” slash cut bloney tubes in front of rear wheels. MSD 6AL ignition with HEI distributer. Transmission GM 700r4 four speed auto with overdrive, Hurst Ratchet shifter, manual shift or full auto. Chassis and Suspension- beefed up original X member style frame with integrated power Mustang II independent on front. 1982 Corvette rear Independent suspension w/3.31 gears and posi traction. With 700r4 trans first gear this car has an effective 4.0 gear ratio on launch. Brakes- 4 wheel power disc. Interior- Black rolled and pleated upholstery and black carpet. Dash Gloss black with cherry stained wood inserts. A full array of Auto Meter gauges. Red Mahogany 4 spoke steering wheel on chrome tilt steering column. Original reupholstered 1969 Mustang standard bucket seats. 3-point seat belts. Vintage Air heat and AC, Pioneer CD AM/FM stereo with power antenna. Trunk upholstered with black rolled and pleats same as interior.
