Vehicle Overview

Bought this one owner NC Impala in March of 2019. Went to the Run to the Sun car show in Myrtle Beach looking for a 67 GTO, but the Impala caught my eye instead. It had a stock 350 and the original power glide trany. With the help of my brother Ronnie, Dad, Larry, Michael, Alan and my son Britton, we have converted the trans to a rebuilt 700R4 w/lock up converter and cruise control. The drivability was greatly improved!!

Future Plans

Currently we are changing out the stock 350 with a rebuilt 454. The big block was rebuilt with a competition cam and Closed chamber oval port heads. I just purchased a Holley Sniper EFI. I also purchased used bucket seat frames from a 67 Impala and recovering them along with the rear seat as well. New carpet along with sound deadener will also be installed as well as a rebuilt center console from my buddy Alan’s dads 67 SS (incredibly hard to find)!! I have ordered a new Dakota Digital dash and we are hoping to have it all put back together by the March 2020 Run to the Sun. I’ll update pics as progress goes!!
