Vehicle Overview
What I have here is a 1970 pontiac tempest that my father bought me for my 12th birthday, at that age I felt like a lucky kid, but as time flew by I slowly realized that I cant just do this on my own, and that restoring a car as a 12 year old kid was going to be difficult. And plus, I was starting from scratch basically and with no mechanical experience at the, Over the next 3 years of my life, I had almost forgot about it completely it sat outside with a tarp on (most of the time until the tarp decides to magically fly off, then either me or my day would put it back on and that would be that) the car finally was able to receive some attention when I was in highschool in my sophomore year, I sanded the body and painted it, cleaned up the frame, but I had no welding experience to fix any of the rusted out sheet metal so I spent what money I had on it on parts that I shouldn't have and on way to many paint can. After the end of the school year, the car went back to my dads shop and did the only thing I expected it to, sit... and rot.
