Vehicle Overview

Bought the truck based off photos, but it sure looked diff in person, lol-It was rust free except cab corners, but had some dents, nasty paint. I tried to sell it, but no takers, so I sold an LS/turbo nova I had built, and started on the truck, Plan was Drag Week 2019. Striped the body, fixed the dents and shot it in Eastwoods Cranberry, followed by several clear coats. I built a 6.0 LS engine, LS3 heads, intake, and a turbo. I used the Holley HP to run the engine, as I had used 3 of those prev., so reused the tune as a start up point from prev. cars. I built a 4L80E trans, and narrowed a 9" for the rear. I lowered the truck, dropped spindles and rear axle flip. I run Torq Thrust 2's front/back, with 295/65/15 rear. Sadly several problems popped up and I didnt make Drag Week. At 73 I still do all my own work, paint, body, engine, trans, fabrication.

Future Plans

Some stuff I hurried to try and make Drag Week, (which caught up with me, lol), such as wiring, and looking hard at the Holley dash setup. I have it tuned on 93 octane, but might try E85, or some percentage of, since I run dual tanks with 450 pumps, and a high flow marine switcher valve.
