  • Vehicle Overview

This truck was a 10 year home build that started as a 350/350 heavy duty 1/2 ton. The only original parts left are the basic bare frame, cab and front fenders and tailgate. It now has a mild nitrous fed date correct 454, 3000 stall turbo 400 with an 3:73 posi 12 bolt which make for a nice street mannered combination . As being a licensed tech except for final paint it was built in our 2 car garage . It definitely gets a lot of attention, has been fortunate to win a lot of awards at shows and been featured as a cover truck on the LMC Catalogue a Couple years ago. It now rides on 20” wheels and has been lowered approximately 6” front and 8” rear with drop spindles, front and rear springs and hangers and now handles like a go cart. The 454 has been upgraded with home ported and polished heads, roller rockers and proper springs for the cam. Hooker ceramic coated headers , Edelbrock Air gap Intake ,quick fuel 750 carb with complete MSD Ignition round out package. A Holley 150 hp pump is used along with dual regulators for the carb and nitrous. The nitrous system is controlled by an Edelbrock rpm based box and is a selection of ZEX, Edelbrock and Other manufacturers. The transmission is also a date correct turbo 400 with the mentioned converter, B&M shift kit and governor kit as well. The interior has been upgraded by a flip out deck/DVD / hands free unit with hidden speakers in the doors, dash, B Pillars and sub/amp hidden under the console .Buckets are 2000 Chrysler and console 2006 Chev Silverado. New and custom carpet with headliner were added as well as dyeing the interior a two tone grey.

    Future Plans

An upgrade to a fuel injection system along with an overdrive transmission and possibly a wood bed floor as upgrades
