Vehicle Overview

The truck was purchased in 2017 as a birthday present from my wife. The chassis and drive train is from an '88 S10 so the engine in the truck was the 4.3 TBI with the 700R4 transmission. I understand there are kits available to put this truck body on the S10 frame, but I don't think one was used. I removed the engine and all the associated wiring and installed a SBC (305) from a '77 Camaro. At least, that is the information I found from researching the numbers stamped on the block. I have gone as simple as possible with the wiring as I can. The original radiator did not fit with the 305 installed so I bought an aluminum radiator and had to modify brackets to get it mounted. I was hoping to be able to go as original as possible with this truck, but this truck will be more of a rat rod than anything else, but the end goal is to make it mine.
