  • Vehicle Overview

Mopar Connection Magazine's Project Orange Crush. Built to slay roads and autocross tracks with the help of Reilly Motorsports, Holley, American Powertrain, Baer, Painless, Flaming River, Redline Oil, Meguiars, Edelbrock, F.A.S.T., and many others. The car has went through a lot of changes over the years. What started out as a grocery getting Slant 6 car has not become a corner carving beast. We are currently in the middle of swapping a 6.4 Hemi out of an SRT8 Challenger into the car. It will mate up to the American Powertrain Magnum 6 speed transmission. The car rides on full Reilly Motorsports AlterKtion and Street Lynx coil over suspension. Baer is going to help us stop with 14" Pro Plus front and rear. Classic Dash and Autometer helped give our dash a makeover with more accurate gauges laid out in a useful fashion. The easy steering is due to the Flaming River rack and racing power steering pump. Edelbrock did help us out with a complete fuel injection setup for the LA small block 360. Although it worked awesome, we are now switching power plants but this won't be the last you hear of Edelbrock.

    Future Plans

Installing the 6.4 Hemi with the help of Holley. From everything fuel related to the wiring and engine management of the motor. We will finally have a proper fuel system capable of 1000hp and E85 ready. Along with a engine management system that will allow us to grow and control more than we will need in Orange Crush. Painless Wiring is also helping us rewire the chassis. With a modern fuse block, extra fuses for modern amenities and get rid of all the old and brittle crap. Orange Crush will be a whole different car in a few months hopeufully.
